Have you read O. Douglas? Or heard of her? I’ve read a few of her books and I love them! 😍 Gentle family-type stories set in Scotland during the Interwar period. This is the first one I’ve bought in paperback. I usually get them on Kindle. Overall, this copy seems formatted ok and the font isn’t microscopic. I think it’s just a company reprinting something in the public domain? Not sure. Anyway, I’m so excited to dive in! I don’t know a lot about this title, but I’ve read 5? of her other titles so far and 4 of them I loved! Olivia in India wasn’t a favorite, but I highly recommend The Setons, Penny Plain, The House That Is Our Own, and Pink Sugar! If you need a very quiet, slow, sweet story, she’s the author for you! 📖
