My friends! My favorite reading month of the year is here! Victorian literature has blessed me in so many ways. Itβs beautiful writing, itβs gorgeous atmospheres, itβs delicious characters, and itβs over-the-top dramatics! π
Iβm hoping to be posting here a bit more this month (daily?!π€π») in celebration of a beautiful month here in the Midwest USA and Victober.
I love putting bits and pieces of the ephemera of life together. Whether that be in the form of a poem, collage, quilting (hope to get back to it someday), pictures, quotes, making soup, lists, journals, or sending moments through the post. I invite you to join me in whatever way you can. π€ Post here in my comments, write in your own journal, post something yourself in your online home, or just meditate in your heart. Letβs rejoice together about a βnew month with no mistakes in itβ¦yet.β π

My first little verse and collage in honor of this momentous month! π

Which spooky or Victorian book should I start this very afternoon? The possibilities are endless! π

May your coffee be hot and your book long and wonderful!
Happy October beginnings! π§‘π€π€πππΎπ
Well, you are doing better than me…I have already made mistakes today, LOL! But, by God’s grace, each moment is a chance to do better than the last. I am finishing up Amanda Cox’s Things We Cannot Keep, and not quite sure what from my list I will dive into next. I have two quilts in progress, but haven’t worked on them in months. We are moving in a week and a half, and after we get settled again, I am hoping to dive back into those projects. Have a great week!

Hahahaha! Thatβs a tongue-in-cheek quote from Anne of Green Gables! π π€£
I read one of Amanda Coxβs titles before and enjoyed it! About a ex-Hollywood star and a hidden train? π β₯οΈ
How wonderful that you quilt! I really miss it, just not my season of life for it. Wonderful children to homeschool! π
Godβs peace and blessings over your move!

I didn’t take up quilting until after my kids were out of high school, I think I’ve mentioned before that I also homeschooled π Someday you will have time for more hobbies!
