Every day we are experiencing so much. It is good to take time to reflect, to relive the experiences we have had in the past year.

Hey, Amy! It’s Emily from To Read Her Heart on YouTube. I just about panicked when I saw all of your videos had been removed (refreshing several times and asking around to see if you were ok) but then I saw on your home page you were backing away from making videos and came across this vlog. I will miss seeing you! Though I know you will still be around. I wish I had found your videos sooner! You have such great takes and unique tastes. I could have kicked myself for not making your last few videos a priority and watching them as soon as they came out. I was really anticipating your mid year wrap up. Oh well I guess. This isn’t goodbye, but I would like to pass along my well wishes for your next phase of life. Thank you for being so kind and giving me a chance. Have a great night!

Hi Emily! 😍🥰Welcome! Thank you for tracking me down! I can make the Mid Year Freak Out tag public again just for you?! 🤣😂✨All my videos are still there, but just private. I may show up for Victober because that’s my favorite readathon. I still will be watching Booktube! Yes, shifting seasons. I am a homeschool mom of four and I have three graduated adult children. I feel pressed to really invest in my kiddos still here and my local homeschool groups. I looove Booktube but the technology kind of stumps me 😖😂🤪 (I’m old) and my true love is writing and photography!

If they are private you can invite certain people to view them. I am not completely sure how it works, but that would be a dream.
Am I understanding you correctly in that you have seven children total?! 😱 Even four is a lot. I don’t blame you in the least for wanting to spend more time with them. Time is a precious commodity, especially when it comes to your children.
You would be shocked at my technological ineptitude. If anything tech works out for me, it is a happy accident. I know exactly what you mean. As an example, I kept your blog open in case you replied. I checked back later yesterday, didn’t see anything, so assumed you replied to your comments every so often. Turns out, I needed to refresh the page! 🤦🏻♀️ yikes.
Writing and photography – that’s so cool! I honestly thought how lovely all of your thumbnails were every time I saw them and had wondered if they were stock photos. Now I wouldn’t be surprised if you took all of them yourself. Regardless, you have a good eye! What kinds of writing do you like?

I mostly love writing poetry but it’s very hard for me 😂and I like daily-life memoir type writing or Christian encouragement. I dream of fiction, but not sure if I have the fortitude or ability for a linear story! 🤣♥️

It’s great that you have so many members in yours! It is rather impressive that you homeschooled all of your children as well. You are very welcome! Why is it hard for you to write your poetry? Are you a perfectionist? Are your writing scattered all over this blog? I would like to take a gander at some of it, if possible. I know what you mean, but for me, writing anything seems like a nearly insurmountable feat lol I think you are quite capable though and I would likely read whatever your wrote!
