A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is one of my all-time faves!! Such a perfect book. I’m super curious about Sink Reflections…🤔

Oh, goooood! I thought I had read it, but now I’m not so sure! Sink Reflections is such a great title, but, this one is actually by the “Fly Lady”…about home keeping help! 😂😬 I need some refreshers and inspiration for habits to keep things running. 🫣🤔

Oh the Fly Lady! I know her…might need to check that out. I’m always in need of staying on track with the house. 😬

Hi Amy, I’m re-reading the Barchester series by Anthony Trollope & am up to Doctor Thorne. I do enjoy Trollope’s writing. I’m also reading a couple of biographies and N.T. Wright’s ‘After You Believe’ which I’ve only just started after my eldest son recommended it. I had a long wait at the dentist earlier in the week so took an E.C.R Lorac book with me – The Two-Way Murder, which was great so I ended up finishing it the next day.
I liked Hannah Coulter after jettisoning Jayber Crow a few years ago. 🙂

I also stopped Jayber Crow! 😃I really prefer his poetry and nonfic writings to his fiction. But I love Hannah Coulter!

I want to read I Cheerfully Refuse sometime!
Also, I can’t believe you didn’t want to finish Jayber! We should chat about that sometime.
Also! I haven’t read any Anthony Trollope!

I’m thinking of reading Cheerfully in August! Wanna join me and two other friends, possibly? On Voxer? I struggle with Berry’s fiction, maybe I should have persevered?! 😂 I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💭
I’d read Trollope with you! Barchester Towers is a second in a series.

Oh, and I’d really like to read that Gaskell book. I’ve read quite a few of her other titles & love her writing.
